Questions people ask
What does code in a box mean on Switch 2?
The box contains a download code instead of a game card. You redeem the code on your Nintendo account, download the game (internet needed), and it plays like a digital purchase.
Can I resell a code-in-a-box Switch 2 game?
Not once the code is redeemed: the game is then tied to the account that used it. An unused code can be passed on.
